From the bustling streets of Jakarta, Ichsan is a creative soul whose heart beats for music. A guitarist, singer, and songwriter, he poured his dreams into melodies until life led him to focus on studies and a career, leaving his guitars gathering dust for 15 years. 

In 2024, a spark reignited when he joined forces with Indonesian Idol alum Glenn Waas for an album project, awakening his passion for music. Inspired, Ichsan dove into creating “Sulung” (the firstborn, reflects Chani’s ‘first-born’ album), released in 2025. 

This 10-track album blends nostalgic Pop, Rock, Jazz, and R&B—sounds that defined Indonesia’s vibrant 90s music scene. Curating songs from two decades ago alongside fresh tracks, Sulung is Ichsan’s love letter to his past and present. 

Once a school band leader and session guitarist mentored by legends like Deni TR of Karimata and Kadek Rahardika, Ichsan also played alongside the late Erwin Prasetya of Dewa. Now, with Sulung, Ichsan invites you to rediscover the music that never truly left him.
